Israeli Foreign Ministry: The Islamic Republic rewards terrorism
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel condemned this decision in response to the appointment of Mohsen Rezaei to the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic.
Referring to the history of Mohsen Rezaei as the former commander of the IRGC, this ministry announced that he is wanted by Interpol in connection with the 1994 bombing of the Amiya Jewish Center in Buenos Aires. An attack in which 85 people were killed.
The Israeli Foreign Ministry wrote in its statement: "The Islamic Republic glorifies terrorism, rewards its designers and promotes them to the highest levels of power."
