Saudi Arabia: The continued attacks of the Islamic Republic in Hormuz will not remain without consequences
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia issued a statement and strongly condemned the targeting of two oil tankers belonging to the Emirati company "ADNOC" while passing through the Strait of Hormuz and called it "unacceptable repetition of attacks by the Islamic Republic against commercial ships and oil tankers".
Riyadh warned that the continuation of these attacks is a dangerous escalation and a direct threat to shipping security and global energy supply, and considered these actions a violation of international laws and customs and Security Council Resolution 2817.
Saudi Arabia named the Islamic Republic fully responsible for the consequences of the continuation of these attacks and demanded an immediate stop to them and Tehran's adherence to international laws.
The Saudi Foreign Ministry also emphasized full solidarity with the United Arab Emirates and support for the country's actions to protect its sovereignty and security.
