Bessent: I am a big fan of Elon Musk; he is taking us to Mars

Scott Bessent, the U.S. Treasury Secretary, praised Elon Musk, saying he strongly supports his efforts in the administration and likened internal disagreements to differences among members of a sports team.

Bessent said: "We may disagree in the locker room, but when we take the field, we are all together and working toward one goal."

He went on to describe Musk as "extraordinary" and, referring to SpaceX's space programs, added: "For example, he is taking us to Mars."
